An Holistic Approach to Health and Wellbeing in the Community

The Croxteth Community Trust, (now the Alt Valley Trust) first received funds through the PCT in January 2004 to support and develop activities for parents and work with young people in the Boot Estate in Norris Green.  The Trust developed a range of informal courses for parents who may have been feeling stressed by the pressures of bringing up young children in areas with multiple difficulties.

The Parent Support  courses proved succesful for those attending as a progression the courses were eventually linked to other education and training opportunities available at the Communiversity.
