About Norris Green

The Norris Green estate was built on land given to Liverpool City Council in the 1920's by Lord Derby, on the provision that no pubs were built. Sadly even to this day, there still aren't any on the estate!

Joe Royle, Steve Coppell and Echo & the Bunnymen's Ian Mculloch are from Norris Green.

An area of Norris green known as the Boot Estate, is being extensvely redeveloped with new build housing adjacent to the Ellergreen sports centre.
