Gem Street is a multimedia project incorporating digital photography, audio, film and animation to create content that aims to highlight and promote the ideas and voices of the group.

Our aim is to teach the group skills that empowers and inspires participants to create their own content using relatively attainable technologies and have some fun in the process.

Gem Street is in a weird and whacky animated world where you ignore the young at your peril. 

The workshop involved the group going around the local area to take photographs, as well as poses of the group members themselves. These images were then combined with audio recordings as well as hand drawn images to create the final animation over nine sessions.
